Fees and insurance

Cost should not be a barrier to mental health care. We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and United Healthcare, and we accept most out-of-network insurance benefits once clients have reached their yearly deductibles.  If your insurance covers out-of-network mental health, we will complete and submit all paperwork.   Our staff therapist rates are $125-$145 per session, and an intern rate of $90 per session.

Please call us at (212) 243-2830 or email us at info@ihitherapy.org.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, “LGBT individuals face health disparities linked to societal stigma, discrimination, and denial of their civil and human rights. Discrimination against LGBT persons has been associated with high rates of psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, and suicide. Personal, family, and social acceptance of sexual orientation and gender identity affects the mental health and personal safety of LGBT individuals.”
