He/Him

Jonathan's approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity. Keenly aware of the vulnerability and trust involved in opening up and sharing, he is dedicated to creating a warm and accepting space where you will feel comfortable, safe, and heard.

Dr. Kutnick's work is relational and trauma-informed. He helps people make meaning of their inner world, their relationships, and their life experiences. He will help you explore how your unique narrative serves you and how or if it acts as a barrier to thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are difficult but essential to your personal growth and happiness. He believes that therapy is more than just cultivating insight, and is also about transforming how you feel, and how you relate to and understand yourself and others.

He has worked with individuals facing a variety of obstacles, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, guilt, shame, grief, and stress around creativity and performance. He specializes in supporting individuals experiencing infertility, and helps men in particular navigate the emotional and relationship issues that surface during the challenges of infertility and family building.

He received his PhD in Clinical Social Work from Smith College, his Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, and his Bachelors in Psychology from Emory University. Dr. Kutnick received training as an intern/extern at William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis & Psychology.
