Sara Beth is an Advanced Clinical Intern currently completing a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her eclectic, person-centered therapeutic approach focuses on trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. Her approach draws on the application of CBT, REBT, and family systems therapy. She has a special clinical and research interest in consensual non-monogamy, kink, and community care.
Sara Beth completed her bachelor's degree in psychology and LGBTQ studies at CUNY Queens College. She is invested in building equitable and accessible mental health care from a social justice lens. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, accepting, and above all built on trust.
